Let’s hope so! The recent JISC SemTech project (http://www.semtech.ecs.soton.ac.uk/) has tried to identify areas for development of semantic technologies for teaching and learning. However during this project it was clear that getting the linked data message across is key. Institutions (and the people in them) are still reluctant to share their data. I just wonder if the economic climate will make institutions more or less willing to share?
