Interesting vision.

Visions of William Morris arts and crafts movement with and educational slant. It didn’t quite take off but has provided some kind of legacy. At the same time I have quite scary visions of cults and perhaps these societies never actually engaging with the “real” work, employers and issues as they’re too busy have engaging conversations with each other!

This is a really thought provoking and very plausible scenario. There are lots of aspects of this scenario that strike me as a Good Thing and others that I find deeply troubling. Elite societies of highly reputation conscious individuals with excellent employment prospects? Hmmm…..

I’m sure this will spark some fascinating discussion at the conference, I wish I could come to your session now!
