I also knew that it might wither and die through lack of activity for that reason…but I felt I had to give it a try. I do think that the platform could be better designed though, so that it would be easier to set up areas of which you speak. Trouble is that doesn’t seem to be the case – or not when using a hosted, social network platform at any case. I’ve always had a big bugbear about JISC projects not continuing discussions they have at F2F meetings after they leave the room (or Birmingham in any case!) and that was my attempt to address that. It seems it wasn’t to be though :(

Having said that it strikes me that none of the things we use particularly get a great deal of use – look at mailing lists!

Oh and yeah, “bemoaning” is probably the right word – brought about through disappointment really.
