The developers often think in terms of what cool things that can do with code, following them the developers team up with investors that think how can I make money out of this. Now somewhere down the line when the technology has bounced around for a bit it gets picked up by education who thinks what can I do with this. Stop me if I am wrong but why should the developer thinking what cool stuff can I make with code be the start of the process? Surely we need to think what do we need to help educate the population, how can this be achieve using technology, then bring the developers into work on a solution.

The most interesting thing is how goverments are starting to utilise social media, the UK’s number 10 blog, gordon brown on youtube and so on. Personally I think it takes away from the professionalism.
