I doubt it but might consider such a scenario in a MOOC of my own. My dream is to design a self-assembling learning environment.

After all we can only learn by experimenting and seeing what works and what doesn’t. The danger with the coursera related hype is that some folk genuinely believe that they are signing up for a high quality learning experience provided by the ‘best professors at the best universities’ . If the billing was ‘volunteers sought to try out new approaches to learning’, then perhaps there would have been quite a different reaction.
