I was involved with Simon and Andy (PebblePad) at the Codebash which ‘spun off’ what was to become Leap2A and was involved in a couple of the Eife-l “Plugfests”. IT would be good to see what quick mash ups could be done with new available data sources – such as the XCRI-CAP aggregations, OER repositories, Job profile/LMI data (we’re currently working on with Alan Paull and Middlesex University) – maybe even KIS?
Best wishes
Kirstie

You were indeed on of our earliest Codebash participants! Believe it or not I still have a list of everyone who attended the first three events and your name is there, with your affiliation down as FD Learning.

Thanks for reminding me about the Eifel codebashes. I wasn’t involved in those so I had completely forgotten about them. I should add them to the list though.

Cheers,
Lorna

Thanks for the history. I think I was one of the Codebash 1 participants when I was in the private sector and still many years before I joined CETIS. I really liked the no-blame atmosphere of the event.

As I recall there was a co-located meeting at codebash4 where what became the spin-off “portfolio interoperability pilots” was discussed. I think they had codebash like events too at the Eifel conferences.

Cheers, Adam
